A Cut Above the Rest

Big Nate’s Family BBQ began when we were asked over and over, “When are you going to open up a restaurant?” Finally we had enough and gave in. BNFBBQ is homemade cooking, prepared daily and served quickly. If you are looking for lunch, you have come to the right place. If you are looking for dinner, you have come to the right place. If you are looking to feed hundreds of hungry rhinoceroses, you have come to the right place! We can feed groups of any size, and we can feed them well. 

Our daily lunch special is called “The Trinity” (renamed from “The Holy Trinity” for obvious reasons). The Trinity features our mouth watering brisket, our amazing pulled pork, and our perfectly seasoned chicken quarters, with a side of signature mashed potatoes, and a side of pulled pork beans. It really is a special lunch.

Ordered the Trinity plate and this is some of the best BBQ I've ever had. I've been to numerous BBQ restaurants and food trucks in multiple states, including South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama as well as many in the Midwest and Nate's ranks among the best in my experiences. The food was plentiful, the meat was well seasoned and smoked to perfection - very tender, juicy, and flavorful. Great selection of sauces and the sides were also excellent. Very helpful & friendly staff! Highly recommend eating here if you are nearby.

We had never been there and received a promotional coupon for a sandwich. We ordered a turkey plate and a pulled pork sandwich. Both were outstanding!!! Portions were huge and the meat was lean and not all fatty. I would post a pic, but we ate the entire thing. We will be going there again for sure!

This is the Best BBQ I've ever eaten in my life no questions asked. We got some of the meat plates. we tried the brisket which was so juicy and flavorful and the ribs which had so much meat on them. We got the mac and cheese and cole slaw sides. both were amazing. they also had great bbq sauces and other toppings. 10/10 would go every week if I lived here.

My wife and I both had Brisket sandwiches, sides of Mac, Beans & Loaded Mash. All of the sides were cold. The brisket was pretty dry and needed bbq sauce.

Nice atmosphere and great service.
